The Immortal Regiment marched with honor in Guangzhou on May 9, 2019!
About a hundred caring Russian-speaking residents of Guangzhou, with the support of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Guangzhou, the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Guangzhou, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou, gathered at 9 a.m. in the Park of Heroes of the Uprising and marched in a slender column to lay flowers!
The column of marchers was accompanied by music from the war years. People prepared, carried posters, flowers, balloons.
The column reached the gazebo of the Soviet-Chinese friendship, a memorial to the memory of the fallen Soviet diplomats.


Welcoming remarks were made by officials: the Consuls General of Russia, the Republic of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, as well as Konstantin Altunyan, who carried a huge victory banner!





The participants laid flowers at the improvised Eternal Flame and honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.
At the end of the action, white balloons were released into the sky in memory of the fallen heroes.
