On February 26, 2019, the Consulate General held a meeting with compatriots living in Guangzhou. The participants of the event discussed various aspects of the life and activities of the local Russian-speaking community, noted a common interest in consolidating efforts aimed at preserving Russian culture, traditions and customs.
Consul General V. Pashkov spoke about the possibilities of the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding assistance in organizing cultural events, and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation with an asset from among compatriots.
In addition, the participants were informed about the work carried out by the Consulate General to open a Russian educational center in Guangzhou.
